At the title screen press Right, Right, Left, Z, A, X, Y.
Using Magic without Using MP
First summon a creature without a magic ability. Then cast magic on that creature and cancel. Next click on the magic command for that creature. It will tell you that magic can't be used, but the spell will be cast without using MP.
